- Summary: Oblong snuff box, transfer printed of Britannia encouraging the Irish Linen Industry.
- Description: The lid has been transfer printed in grey and is from an engraving by Ravenet after Gwin. Britannia can be seen standing to the left supporting a shield with the arms of the Duke of Dorset. She holds out her hand to Hinernia - seated with a distaff in her hand and an Irish harp by her side. Inside the lid is a portrait of the the Duke of Dorset (1688-1765) who was Lord Lieutenant of Ireland from 1731 - 1737 and from 1751 - 1755, adapted from an engraving published 1750, by James McArdell (b. 1710) after a painting by Sir Godfrey Kneller (1646 - 1723). The sides and base have been printed with a gold diaper pattern.
